The General Election is coming up soon. Real soon. We’re proud to have supported election mahi that elevates the voices of communities and socially-led organisations working to achieve positive outcomes for people and the planet.
Election time is when some of the most inspiring and urgent campaigns are built and disseminated. This year we’ve been fortunate to have partnered with a bunch of unions, political parties, coalitions and advocacy groups to help imagine and build their election campaigns and develop digital tools. Here are a few you should check out.
Generation Zero
Generation Zero calls on young people to share their hopes for our climate and communities. In an election climate that centres on catastrophe and crisis, Generation Zero encourages young voters to imagine a world and a future where we are guided by empathy. Take a look at their website to see some of their hopes, as well as curated resources and toolkits.

Generation Zero on Instagram
NZNO Nurse We Need
Nurses know more than anyone about the health crisis, and they know what we need to do to fix it.The #NurseWeNeed campaign invites the public to tautoko our nurses by voting with them in mind during this General Election. This campaign shares NZNOs key asks of political parties and outlines which policies support nurses, so people can make an informed decision when they vote.

We helped NZNO develop campaign messaging, brand identity, an election scorecard design, website development and paid social media.

Te Pāti Māori
We’ve been web development partners of Te Pāti Māori for the past three years. This year, just in time for the election, we’ve launched their new website.
In the leadup to the election we also built their new tax calculator, ran Nationbuilder training for their electorate teams, improved their membership and donation experience and provided technical support.

Greens
In 2019 we built the Greens website. This year we added a few polishes to it. Behind the scenes, we supported their mahi by building a custom, user-friendly walksheet which helps volunteers better engage with voters in their neighbourhoods and record interactions. We also added some polish to donation forms and helped with getting the right content in front of overseas-based voters.
