It's been a crazy few weeks for
many of us and it's still ongoing for some - we hope that you, your
whānau, and your colleagues are safe and sound and are getting any
support you need. At For Purpose we've been amongst it, supporting
flooded teammates and providing digital assistance to organisations
busy supporting those most in need. If there is anything we can do to
support you and your organisation please get in touch.
In other news - We’ve
got a new website! We’ve also got a couple of great projects for you
to check out that illustrate the good that comes from collaborate
design, and we want to talk about becoming a Living Wage Employer.
Check them all out below.
Did we mention we’ve got a
new website? At For Purpose we do our best to walk the talk,
so of course we need the best tools to showcase our work and your
incredibly important projects. The latest refresh of the forpurpose.nz
website is vibrant and fun while serving its purpose, we have boiled
down to the best bits to simply highlight our varied skills and
experience and how we collaborate to create influential projects.
Digital campaigning with
meaning is our thing, our projects impact change, we partner with
movements to create a just, sustainable and equal world.
Yesterday we launched a beautiful visual
identity and website for Te Hou Ora Whānua Services, vital tools to
showcase their whakapapa, the organisation, its future, their people
doing the mahi and the communities they serve.
Generation Zero is a nonpartisan, youth-led
climate organisation that champions solutions towards a thriving,
carbon-neutral Aotearoa. We were thrilled to collaborate with the team
to refresh their brand and website, to help them share their voice and
build their member base.
A favourite recent project is the bilingual
interactive Stories of Te Reo website supporting a public storytelling
campaign that empowers users to collect the stories of their own
communities so these kōrero can live on forever.
It's just 8 months away!
If you are aiming to influence the outcome and gain support for
policies that make the world more equal, just, and sustainable then

Community Organising and Big Charities -
Many big charities are
thinking deeply about their own power and about building the power of
the communities they serve. They are also recognising that service
provision and elite influencing alone will not deliver the sustainable
and structural change they seek. These twin realities are forcing
them to fundamentally rethink their role and how they contribute to
sustainable and transformational social movements.
