Te Wā Tuku Reo Māori

Partner: Te Taura Whiri i te reo Māori | The Māori Language Commission

Deliverables: Digital Strategy - UX and UI Design - Website Development - Social Media

1 million

For Purpose helped make history by supporting Te Taura Whiri create the largest, single celebration of the Māori language ever. We managed the paid promotion and digital strategy that enabled over 1 million New Zealanders to participate in the 2020 Māori Language Moment. Our integrated social media, web, and digital engagement strategy drove over 40,00 unique sign-ups and 6000 story uploads over a two week period.

We love working with kaupapa Māori organisations and this project was extremely satisfying, delivering content for Māori and tau iwiaudiences and encouraging Pākehā to celebrate reo Māori. It is a privilege to work with te reo Māori. It is a taonga tuku iho with a rich whakapapa.
